Two ways
Go to Accounting export. You can either:
- Export manually — a CSV per period that you or your accountant import.
- Post automatically — every night the closed Z report of the previous day is written into your accounting package as a journal entry.
Exporting manually
Choose a period (this month, last month, this or last quarter, or custom) and a format: General CSV, Exact Online, Moneybird, Snelstart, e-Boekhouden or VAT return — the last being a summary per VAT rate. Then hit Export CSV.
Setting up automatic posting
- 1Switch Post automatically in your accounting package to On.
- 2Choose your accounting package.
- 3Enter the key or grant permission (see below).
- 4Pick your administration.
- 5Map every item to a ledger account.
- 6Tap Save connection.
Only one package can post at a time. Switching a second one on takes posting over from the one currently active. The screen warns you about that when you save.
What each package needs
- Moneybird — a personal API token, created under Settings › Developers › API tokens.
- e-Boekhouden.nl — an API token via Beheer › Instellingen › Koppelingen › API.
- SnelStart — two keys: the connection key from SnelStart Web (Settings › Connections, pick Deskly) and the subscription key for the B2B API, requested through SnelStart's developer portal.
- Exact Online — you register your own app in the Exact App Center using the redirect URL shown on screen, then grant access with Connect to Exact Online.
The ledger mapping
This is the part worth doing carefully once, ideally together with your accountant. You map each item to a ledger account:
- Revenue — 21% high, 9% low and 0% / exempt.
- VAT — VAT payable at 21% and 9%.
- Receipts — cash, card/credit card, online/webshop and other payment methods.
- Other — tips, cash differences, refunds on earlier days and rounding differences.
Tips, cash differences and refunds only need mapping if they occur in your venue. But if an item does appear in a closing and has no account attached, that entry cannot be written.
Checking that it runs
At the bottom you find Last run and the recent entries, showing per Z report whether it was posted, skipped, being posted or failed. Check it for the first week — then you know the nightly run does what you expect.
Refunds processed on the POS flow into this as corrections. See Overcharged or settled by mistake.
